YOGA WORKSHOPS, MEDITATION & TAI CHI QIQONG CLASSES SCHEDULE
RESTORATIVE YOGA WORKSHOP
Our world as we know is continuously rapidly changing. With so much uncertainty in the direction our world is moving towards, we are increasingly experiencing more physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual stress and unease.
Restorative yoga is excellent to relax and renew our central nervous system, calm our mind, body, and spirit, alleviate anxiety, stress, pain and tension from our body and mind, boost our immune system and boost the body’s healing processes. We will be focusing on our breath while practicing yoga poses and stretches using props to support the body and allow it to soften, release, and relax in the poses for prolonged periods. While at the same time, as we hold in the stretches and poses, we will be increasing flexibility and mobility in a gentle supportive way. This workshop will allow the central nervous system to reset in a relaxed state of being. Stretches and poses will be adapted to suit individual needs if needed.

WORKSHOP FOR ARMS, NECK, SHOULDERS, AND UPPER BACK
In today’s modern lifestyle, we spend a lot of time on our cell phones and computers which can create poor posture and tension to our upper bodies. Many people also do work that requires repetitive lifting, turning, and other movements that create tension, stress, and sometimes strain, and injuries to our upper body.
This workshop will focus on yoga stretches and poses to de-stress, relax, and create better movement, mobility, flexibility, specifically for the neck, shoulders, arms, hands, and upper back. These stretches will also alleviate/manage pain from arthritis and injury. Stretches and poses will be adapted to suit individual needs if needed.

MEDITATION
Take time away from your hectic, busy life and give yourself the gift of sitting quietly and still in the moment with yourself. Meditation brings awareness to whatever arises in the present moment within and around you. Meditation has shown to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, obsessive thinking, and insomnia increasing your sense of well-being. In this Meditation Class you will learn tools to quiet the mind as well as practice silent and guided meditation.

TAI CHI/QIQONG
Tai Chi and QiQong are traditional Chinese methods to improve health, balance, endurance, strength, and cognitive processes. Classes are done standing, sitting, or in combination.
Classes are small to allow for individual attention to each participant’s needs.
The classes incorporate Tai Chi movement, QiQong breathing and postures, breathwork, relaxation, and modern rehabilitation techniques.

FEE: $100 every 4 classes (Drop-In is $40)
Introductory Package: $40 for two classes (must be attended consecutively)

Please call, text, or email Dina Pereira to register for yoga workshops. Please send payment for workshops via e-transfer to: info@breathingspaceyoga.ca when you register to secure your spot. If you prefer to pay by cheque or cash please notify Dina. Thank you kindly. Receipts will be given if requested.
Please bring your yoga mat, blanket, and eye bag if you have one. Belts, blocks, bolsters, and other props will be provided.
All Yoga Workshops will have 6 people maximum. If there is a lot of interest, extra dates and times will be added to offer these same workshops.
