We are now offering Acupressure Massage and Reiki sessions.
What is Reiki?
Usui Reiki is an ancient healing practice which was practiced in Japan. Reiki involves the channelling of energy between the practitioner and the client to restore harmony to the client’s energy field and boost his/her body’s natural healing processes. Reiki will relieve pain, relieve tension and stress, induce relaxation, and even help alleviate symptoms of acute ailments and chronic illnesses.
A Reiki session involves the client lying fully clothed on a massage table while the practitioner gently lays his/her hands on various areas of the body depending on the client’s individual needs. The client is required to fill out an assessment form with the practitioner on the first session. The assessment form will be filled out with the Practitioner on your first visit.
Sessions are offered on Tuesday evenings, Thursdays, and Friday afternoons by appointment only.

What is Acupressure Massage?
Acupressure massage is an ancient Chinese massage system that dates back 5,000 years and it is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. According to these principles, illness is caused by blockages or interruptions in the natural flow of vital energy called “Chi” through the meridians, or energy pathways in the body. These meridians are associated with specific internal organs and body systems. Acupressure massage restores balance to the energy flow within the meridians, relieves pain, increases blood circulation, removes toxins from tissues, and treats many physical conditions including muscular aches. This enhances the body’s natural ability to heal itself and maintain a healthy balance.
An Acupressure massage session involves the client lying on a massage table while the practitioner applies pressure to meridian points using the thumbs, fingers, or knuckles and massage techniques to relax and renew the mind and body. The practitioner works with the meridian points that apply to the client’s specific needs. The client is required to fill out an assessment form with the practitioner on the first session. The assessment form will be filled out with the Practitioner on your first visit.
Sessions are offered on Tuesday evenings, Thursdays, and Friday afternoons by appointment only.

What is Flower Essences Therapy?
Dr. Bach developed flower essences in the 1930s. There are 38 flower essences made from non-poisonous plants, trees, and shrubs. Flower essence remedies are unique in that they work on a vibration level to help release energy blocks between one’s personality and their Higher Self. Flower essence remedies bring about the necessary changes in one’s outlook that allows them to attain optimal health and wellness of mind, body, and spirit. They are safe to ingest and they do not interact or interfere with medications or supplements and are complementary to all other healing modalities. Flower essences can be ingested and they do not smell like essential oils. Flower essences are NOT essential oils.
Sessions are offered on Tuesday evenings, Thursdays, and Friday afternoons by appointment only.

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology uses the reflex points on the feet to increase the circulation loop in the body. More movement of blood and increased circulation better allows the body to heal itself. What has been observed is that the body addresses what it needs first to allow more healing, whether it is sleep, reduced pain, or allowing one to remain in a calmer state during stressful times.
Sessions are offered on Mondays and Wednesday mornings by appointment only.
